Changing professional practice, policies and the law~

Safety Net Advice and Support Centre works at local and national levels promoting the rights and welfare of Children and Young People who have been victims of Sexual and Domestic Violence.

Safety Net Advice and Support Centre lobbies key decision makers such as MPs, Civil Servants and the Crown Prosecution Service to ensure they put in place policies that are best for protecting children and young people. We respond to Government consultation documents. We do our best to ensure that new legislation is appropriate and that the welfare of children and young people who have been victims of sexual or domestic violence remains high on the political agenda.
